Anchor Advance Care LLC is building a platform for advance care planning. The current environment is a prototype and is not collecting real patient health information in production.
Security roadmap
As Anchor moves toward pilot deployments with health system partners, the company plans to implement safeguards aligned with healthcare industry expectations, including:
- Encryption at rest
- Encryption in transit (TLS)
- Role-based access controls
- Audit logging
- Identity verification workflows
- Secure cloud infrastructure
- HIPAA-aligned administrative, technical, and physical safeguards
These controls are part of Anchor's planned production architecture. They may not yet be fully implemented in the current prototype environment. Anchor is not HIPAA compliant today because the prototype is not intended to store protected health information from real patients.
