Anchor Advance Care LLC is building a platform for advance care planning. The current environment is a prototype holding demonstration data in a live database. It is not approved for real patient health information and Anchor is not HIPAA compliant today.
Security roadmap
As Anchor moves toward pilot deployments with health system partners, the company plans to implement safeguards aligned with healthcare industry expectations, including:
- Encryption at rest
- Encryption in transit (TLS)
- Role-based access controls
- Audit logging
- Identity verification workflows
- Secure cloud infrastructure
- HIPAA-aligned administrative, technical, and physical safeguards
These controls are part of Anchor's planned production architecture. They may not yet be fully implemented in the current prototype environment. The prototype is built to hold demonstration data only, which is why it is not approved for real patient health information and not HIPAA compliant today.
